Parallel play Sitting in the same room, doing separate things, completely content. No forced conversation. No perormance. Just coexisting. It's beautiful.

Direct communication We say what we mean. No games, no subtext, no hints you're supposed to magically decode. Refreshing, actually.

Loyalty that's almost feral Once you're in, you're IN. We will defend you. We will remember your birthday. We will not randomly ghost you after 10 years of friendship.

Depth over breadth We don't have 500 shallow acquaintances. We have 3 people we'd take a bullet for and a topic we've studied for 10,000 hours.
